One of my favorite feel good things is bargain shopping. I love getting a good deal on clearance 0r an awsome sale. This is quite a change from when I was younger and would only wear $80 jeans. Once in a while Goodwill has a huge sale where there is 50% off everything in the store, denim is 99 cents and all kids clothes are 99 cents. Yesterday morning Jessie and I got up early and we were there right when they opened. I just have to share this experience with all of my blog readers because I am so excited (and a little proud of myself). I bought 17 pairs of pants (Levi's, Lucky, American Eagle, Gap and Old Navy), 17 shirts, 2 skirts and 5 sets of pajamas for a grand total of {{{{ drum roll }}}}} $51.oo. Can you believe it? I am so excited. One pair of Lucky pants cost more than that. I also love that my kids are excited about it. They love getting a whole new wardrobe for under $15.oo each. Love it, love it, love it. I am so like you Megan! Things really change when you grow up. I only wore big name brands, shopped at department stores, etc. Now, my and my families' wardrobe come from Old Navy clearance racks, you know, the ones cheaper than Wal-Mart.
Way to go Megan. That's even better than what you told me. I remember the $80.00 jean days so this is great.
