17...

How is it possible?

It seems like only yesterday that I brought this babe home from the hospital. He made me a mother.

He changed my life forever.

I had never known a love like this before.

Happy 17th Birthday James!
I hope all your wishes come true.

I know for sure that your birthday wish of a new car is not going to come true, but all your other wishes, I hope those do come true.

Name and a blessing...

Noah's Blessing
7.17.2010

Noah was blessed when we were in Utah visiting our family and friends. I wanted to make him a special little outfit to wear for his blessing. Many hours, blood, sweat, tears and a few swear words went into this project. But in the end I was so pleased with the results. I love this little man so much. I am so glad I could make this for him.

10 months

Mr. Noah Bug is ten months old already. Amazing. He is such a little man. Just some facts about him.

~Loves to eat baby food but not crazy about table food.
~ Follows Myles' around and wants to do everything he does.
~ Loves to sit in my lap and listen to stories.
~ Loves to swing.
~ Loves strangers, especially women.
~Just got his first two teeth.
~Cruises, crawls, scoots his way around everywhere and gets into EVERYTHING.

First Day of School...

First day of school in our new town.
Nervous. Apprehensive.Excited.
Jessie's first year in the High School.

They turned...

Have you ever been so far behind on a project that you just don't even want to do it? Anyone?? This is my current relationship with my blog. I am so far behind. I really want to just jump in and move forward. This is my attempt...

So in the last three months we have had three birthdays. Jessie had hers in June. She turned 14!! Wow. Happened so fast. She spent her birthday in Utah with Grandma and Grandpa and had a special girls day out with the her grandma, aunt and cousin. She had such a great time.

(pictures go here)

Then in July Liam turned 11. We have a special tradition in our family that on your 11th birthday you get a $100 bill. Liam has been looking forward to this day for a couple of years now. We celebrated in Colorado with Uncle Richie.

In August Myles turned 4. He was so excited. We went to Chuck E. Cheese and had pizza. We were in the middle of a crazy whirlwind move (more on that later) so we went back and had cake in the lobby of our hotel. He was in heaven.

I swear it feels like yesterday that I brought each one of these babes home from the hospital. Time is just going way too fast...

7 months

Seven months ago I had this tiny little bug of a baby. Just itty bitty he was. Skin and bones. Sweetest little thing I have ever met. All five pounds of him.

I said back then just give me some time and I will fatten this kid up.
Well I tried. I really, really tried.

He slowly but surely got bigger. Not fat by any means. But he grew. Then one day he discovered food. It was love at first bite. Okay maybe not but after two months of working on the whole eating thing he finally got it. He hasn't stopped since.

A little bit of this...

And a little bit of that...

Look at this. A fat, happy, butterball of a babe. He was rolls and sweet little chubbers.

7 month stats

17 pounds (that's 3.5 pounds in a month)
25 3/4 inches long
Now that's what I'm talking about

I know it seems like I just posted his five month stats :)

Sweet Baby Noah is six months old. Sweetest little bug ever. I love him so much. He is heaven sent, no doubt about it. It is so nice to wake up to that sweet smiling face every morning. It is so fun to see his sweet little personality start to emerge.

5 months old...

I know. I cannot believe it. {and yes I will continue to say this every month for the rest of his life}

Mr. Noah Bug is the big 5 months old.

~He is the sweetest, smiliest, chattiest boy.

~He sleeps. He soundly sleeps.

~He loves to play. He loves his siblings. He laughs out loud at them

~He still hates food. Refuses it. And if I do manage to get some down him he quickly throws it back up.

~He wants to move. He has tried crawling but as soon as I saw him trying that he was grounded from any floor exercises. He is too young. Period. I won't have it.

Stats

We didn't have an official checkup this month just a sick baby appointment so he got weighed and that was....

12 pounds exactly.

He is now wearing 3-6 month clothes

{nope not on the charts yet}

April was a blur...

April just came and went so fast I didn't even blog about it. A lot of exciting and memorable things happened in April and I cannot let them go unnoticed. So bear with me, this is more just for documentation sake, to help us remember that we were alive.

This crazy kid just kept us all giggling. He is such a sweet boy.

We planted a garden. And managed to keep it alive all month.

Liam went to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. He had a blast.

We played with bugs.

Jessie said goodbye to her blonde hair and now is gorgeously brunette.

These kids had a lemonade stand and made $10. When it got a little slow it helped to cut out a lemon shaped piece of printer paper, tape it to your little brothers face and make him walk up and down the street.

James got his drivers license.

We played.

Our household consumed more than it's fair share of chocolate milk.

Liam won first place in the potato sack races at Track & Field.

And we wrapped up the month with a tornado. This picture is about 1.5 miles from our house.

Safest place to be is in the bathroom so here is poor Mr. Noah ridin' out the storm.
